The Future of Workplace Commitment
Broad Quay, Bath, Bath and North East Somerset BA1 1UD
What might the future of work look like? How might this impact research in the field of workplace commitment?
This School of Management event will bring together an international group of scholars to explore what work will look like in the future and how this may impact research in the field of workplace commitment. We will develop and discuss two broad themes that represent the changing nature of the way people work:
- Boundaryless work
- Temporary work
(See Cappelli and Keller, 2013). The structure of the programme will also allow for other directions to be explored, depending on how the meeting evolves.
After all, nobody can predict the future.
Confirmed speakers include:
Professor. Dr Rolf van Dick, Goethe University Frankfurt
Omar Solinger, VU University Amsterdam
Professor Aaron Cohen, University of Haifa
Professor Kathleen Bentein, L’Université du Québec à Montréal
Franck Bietry, University of Caen
Jordan Creusier, University of Caen
Dr Steven Kilroy, Queens University Belfast
This event is primarily aimed at academics. Ideas and results will be shared with a broader audience of HR managers and business contacts.
